Sculpt Gym is here to provide you with a safe, comfortable gym environment. With over 10 years experience in the fitness industry, Karl Van Jaarsveldt our head personal trainer, and the director of Sculpt is here to ensure you receive the work out that is perfect for you!

Sculpt Gym has many different fitness options for you to enjoy and utilize. Group classes of personal training, which keeps you motivated with your friends and keeps costs lower. If spinning is for you then Sculpt is for you!!!!!

There will be many spin classes throughout the week at Sculpt, come choose a time that is convenient for you. Being on the MacClub grounds we have plenty of space to play around with. Run around the field for your warm-up, or pull the tire up the field to get your legs working.

Sculpt Personal Trainers

Sculpt has two permanent personal trainers, Karl Van Jaarsveldt and Nathan Johnson who are accessible for training/fitness/nutrition/health advice and consultation.

Personal trainers can devise a customised fitness routine, sometimes including a nutrition plan, to help clients achieve their goals. They also monitor and train with members making sure there is a safe work out environment.

Karl Van Jaarsveldt

Our head trainer Karl trained at the Reebok Instructors Alliance in South Africa where he qualified as a personal trainer. He now has almost ten year experience in the fitness industry, working at Muscles and Curves for many years then opening and owning a gym in Victoria Falls for four years.

In 2009 Karl moved back to Bulawayo where he opened his home gym for personal training clients. Finally in May 2014 moving to the Heath Streak Academy where with the support of the MacDonald’s sports club he has opening Sculpt Gym.

Nathan Johnson

Sculpts second permanent trainer is Nathan Johnson who has over eight years of experience in the industry. Training contestants for the Mr Zimbabwe bodybuilding contest over the years. Nathan stared at Body Tec in 2006 where he trained for 7 years until moving to trade fairs Fit For Living and then finally coming to Sculpt in May 2014.

Nathan concentrates on personal training, body conditioning, bodybuilding and strength training.

  • Pilates Body Conditioning – form of boot camp. A combination of cardio training and strength work, to loss inches and tone up.

A monthly walk-in fee of $40

High school and junior school scholar’s $20 yearly subscription

Scholar walk-in fee $20

University scholar subs $25

University walk-in fee $25

Personal training $8 hourly session

3 times a week personal training for 1 month $100
